While Amazon’s Lord of the Rings series is on hold, those jonesing for that good Middle-Earth action can tide themselves over with the upcoming reprint of the Lord of the Rings board game!
Fantasy Flight games have announced they will be returning the classic game from 2000 to print as a 20-year anniversary edition. In it players take the roles of each of the Hobbits in the Fellowship of the ring, and progress across the board towards Mount Doom while avoiding the corruption of Sauron.
The reissue will feature new and improved art and remodelled miniatures, made with better materials.
The Lord of the Rings: The Board Game Anniversary Edition (LETR20) is set to be released in the fourth quarter of 2020.
